Community Base Bat Conservation Project in Panchase Region of NepalCommunity-based bat conservation project in the Panchase Region of
Nepal. The region is an important biodiversity hotspot under threat
from logging and from setting fires in caves to drive bats away so the
caves can be used for livestock. These activities are resulting the
loss of roosts for bats. This project will educate the local people
about the value of the bats through a variety of activities while
determining the distribution of bats in the area.
